Ballet Folklorico de Los Angeles was very fortunate to have a very fun and busy 2015. We definitely had a blast and enjoyed our busiest year so far, having performed 75 times during the year in venues throughout California, Nevada, Tennessee, and Mexico. Herbalife World Convention, Nokia Theater, March 2015

We were extremely excited to receive the invitation to perform at he Nokia Theater with Grammy-Award-Winning Mariachi Divas de Cindy Shea for the Herbalife World Convention last March. The beautiful stage and audience's amazing energy made this a once in a lifetime experience.

Las Cafeteras, Santa Barbara Bowl, April 2015

We are very lucky to have one of the members of the band Las Cafeterias in our dance company (Denise Carlos). It was an honor to accompany this fun Chicano band throughout the year, but most especially at the Santa Barbara Bowl where we put on two shows for 4,000 children in the school district.

Music Video for Armenian Pop Star, Lilit Hovhannisyan, May 2015

One of the coolest and most memorable projects of 2015 had to be working with the beautiful Armenian Pop Star, Lilit Hovhannisyan on her new single's music video. It was a lot of work, but the music video turned out amazing!

Murfreesboro International Folk Dance Festival, Tennessee, June 2015

If there was a time when the members of our company had an absolute blast it had to be in Tennessee!!! We had the chance to bond with each other and with the members of Mariachi Garibaldi. We had the honor of representing the country of Mexico and met dancers from Tennessee, France and Latvia.

Santa Barbara Mariachi Festival, Santa Barbara, August 2015

We were humbled to open the concert at the 2015 Santa Barbara Mariachi Festival with our own set. It was an honor to share the stage with Mariachi Garibaldi, and Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlan.

Marina del Rey Symphony, Conductor Frank Fetta, Summer 2015

We would like to thank Conductor Frank Fetta for working with us for the past two years. Last summer's season was unforgettable especially our performance in Marina del Rey where we dance to Ravel's Bolero.

It was amazing to see Maestra Kareli and Maestro Jonathan on stage with the best Mariachis in the world last September in Guadalajara, Jalisco.

¡Viva el Arte! Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara, CA, September 2015

This five day residency in the Santa Barbara area was amazing!!! We did it all from assemblies, to workshops and evening concerts too. It was great to have the talented musicians of Grupo Bella accompany us during our evening concerts.

Mariachi Los Camperos, Valley Performing Arts Center, Northridge, CA, October 2015

Our biggest project of the year had to be our concert with Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano at the beautiful Valley Performing Arts Center. We performed songs of the Mexican Revolution Choreographed by Kareli Montoya and Jonathan Trejo. Mr. Trejo also did an amazing job and lighting designer.

Lilit Hovhannisyan Live in Concert, Pasadena Civic Auditorium, Pasadena, CA, November 2015

The last moment of 2015 that we would like to highlight was our concert with Armenian Pop Star, Lilit Hovhannisyan at the Pasadena Auditorium. Her concert was aired all over Armenia and on youtube. It feels amazing to have other cultures embrace our folklore and traditions. Forward video to 1:34:10.

Our team of dancers, instructors, and choreographers worked very hard to make 2015 an unforgettable year. We want to say THANK YOU to all of our friends and followers for supporting all of our projects and keeping us on our toes.
